Lost+Found is run by a group of talented individuals, all in their spare time.

  Joy Andrada

  Co-Founder and Content Editor

  Residing in Brooklyn, Joy has been living in New York City for five years. She came here to study economics at NYU and became a finance guru but has ended up working for (and loving) the social good sector. She currently works in community outreach and has worked with various nonprofit groups, including Idealist.org and StoryCorps. Joy enjoys writing and blogging but doesn’t write as often as she should. She’s interested in social media, graphic novels, and good mixtapes.

  Melissa Andrada

  Co-Founder and Content Editor

  Currently based in Scotland, Melissa is getting a masters in Cultural Studies at the University of Edinburgh. She is originally from Seattle, but has traveled to and lived in many countries, including Nigeria, Czech Republic, and Panama. A cultural producer of many stripes, Melissa has done everything from concert planning to teaching English to blogging. She loves good design, cities, mochi ice cream, and her google reader.

  Lauren Brisbo

  Co-Founder and Content Editor

  A California girl by birth, a sequence of capricious events brought her up to the fabulous city of Seattle where she now resides. Lauren currently works for a local public affairs firm where she develops messaging and communication tools for a variety of socially- and environmentally-conscious clients. When she is not writing, Lauren enjoys cooking, traveling, and bad reality television.

  Thomas Hancock

  Photographer and Designer

  Thomas is a photographer, graphic designer, and illustrator based in Brooklyn, New York. Hailing originally from the mid-west, he has lived in a number of different US cities, including Milwaukee, Chicago, and New Orleans. He is a frequent editor and collaborator of the independent publishing company Garrett County Press. Thomas is also founder of the Common Folk Collective, a collective of Brooklyn-based artists, designers, and DJs and recently published an illustrated journal.

  Jeff Pollard

  Co-Founder, Webmaster, and Designer

  Jeff With over 10 years of web and coding experience, Jeff specializes in LAMP programming, site architecture, and design. Jeff has worked in all aspects of web development — from serving as the webmaster at a nonprofit organization to slinging code as an in-house developer at a small web solutions company. He currently works as the Chief Technology Officer at a tech start-up in Seattle. In his free time, Jeff enjoys snowboarding, brewing homemade beer, and good ol’ pub trivia.

• Nicole Trask

  Content Editor

  A southern bell at heart, Nicole is a Seattle transplant turned culturally-savvy wannabe immigration lawyer. When not hitting the books Nicole enjoys learning Cantonese, tea parties, and trips to the doggy park with her cocker spaniel Holly. She has traveled and lived in various places throughout Eastern Europe, Mexico and the US southwest. She now attends Seattle University and resides in Capital Hill.
